WHAT WE DO
A RESPONSIVE TEMPLATE DESIGNED BY DYNADOT


Spring Registration begins Tues. March 5th at 10am

Stop by our studio or call to enroll.

Class size is limited to 8 students age 18 or older.

Classes are $135 and include 8 weeks of instruction, 25 lbs. of clay, and all glazing and firing costs.

Each 8 week class meets for 2 hours, once a week.  

Students are encouraged and welcome to practice outside of class time during open studio hours.


No class transfers or make-up classes will be allowed without instructors permission and available class space.

Guests are welcome to observe, but not to participate in either classes or open studio time.



MONDAY

April 1st - May 20th

** Evening Class **


WHEEL THROWING     6p-8p     Beginning Students ONLY

This class is for true wheel throwing beginners.  You will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel including wedging, centering, trimming, basic shapes (cylinders, cups and bowls), pulling handles, and basic glazing techniques.





TUESDAY

April 2nd - May 21st

** Afternoon Class **


HANDBUILDING & SCULPTURE     12p-2p     All Levels

Learn or review the fundamentals of handbuilding, including pinch, coil, slab and extrusion. Surface texture, decoration, wedging and glazing are also presented.  Explore methods of making both functional and sculptural forms including organic, geometric, abstract and lifelike forms and figures. Bring your ideas to class.




WEDNESDAY

April 3rd - May 22nd

** Evening Class **

 WHEEL THROWING     6p-8p     All Levels

Each wheel class will be divided by skill level with two instructors per class.

Beginning Students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel including wedging, centering, trimming, basic shapes (cylinders, cups and bowls), pulling handles, and basic glazing techniques.

Returning/Experienced Students will explore more complex shapes and techniques including plates, lidded jars, tall vases, and serving bowls.
    





THURSDAY

April 4th - May 23rd

April 6th - June 1st
